I wonder did no one ever consider that the accident was actually caused by TEXTING while driving? That the girl's suicide talk wasn't serious, but a juvenile attempt to get her boyfriend back? Consider: Girl goes to send final text; drops phone on floor. Has to unfasten seatbelt to reach down and get it. While traveling roughly 70mph, attempting to find phone on floor of passenger side, accidentally pushes down on accelerator; car speeds up and she loses control and crosses center line, and BOOM. THE CRASH. Doesn't take away her liability, but does remove intent to commit suicide, which is more in line with what she has said concerning what was going on in her life. This is an extremely plausible & probable theory, considering what we know of texting and driving. I do not believe this was i tentional homicide, but rather, more like negligent homicide or manslaughter.
